Prototype is EMU for Express Train in Odakyu Electric Railway(OER). It was debut in 1980 to replace the former EMU, Class 3100 EMU "NSE". While equipment was updated from 1996 to 1998, the livery was also changed new one. It was the same color as Class 10000 EMU "HiSE". In 2007, one unit was changed to the original livery as part of OER's 80th anniversary celebrations. This EMU was gradually withdrawn after it. All units were retired in 2018. The maker will release three types as follow.
